Nicole Crentsil

Nicole is a Ghanaian-British entrepreneur, creative consultant and cultural curator; listed by Forbes as one of 100 women to follow on Twitter & LinkedIn. Her passion for supporting and promoting diversity through various industries, alongside her drive to stimulate forward thinking conversations, has also awarded Nicole as Time Out’s 1 of 50 Londoners shaping the City’s cultural landscape.

Building an impressive career as a public speaker and festival director, Nicole uses the safe space of events to tackle the injustices experienced by both herself and her community on a daily basis. In 2016 she founded her first event, Unmasked Women, an art exhibition and series of workshops designed to act as a catalyst for the Black community to discuss mental health. Nicole has since become the founder of BIG SIS, a platform dedicated to supporting the personal development of creative working women and the CEO of Black Girl Festival, a creative community dedicated to creating space for Black women and girls.

With several appearances as a guest speaker on BBC women’s hour under her belt, TEDX talks, as well as numerous corporate &panel slots discussing everything from mental health to race and representation, Nicole is an experienced commentator, panellist and host. She has features that sit across print, online and through the extended media including The Times, Stylist, The Evening Standard, Channel 4 and Courier. In addition to all of the above, Nicole has also collaborated with various brands including the likes of UNIQLO, Missoma, Specsavers, Xero, Bumble, and many more and, as if all of those achievements weren’t enough, is most recently a very proud new mama.
